His career as a federal law enforcement officer included assignments placing him in charge of several major field offices including, New Orleans, Miami and Atlanta. He joined Florida Atlantic University in 2011 as an instructor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and was recently named the Undergraduate Degree Online Program Coordinator for the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. He holds two M.S. degrees: Criminal Justice and Emergency Planning and Administration.
